PASA is a vital partner in our mission to provide reading material and content to blind and visually impaired people in our population in accessible formats, driving inclusivity across the industry.

Josie Wood

Our journey began with a single act of kindness from Miss Comber, who donated 100 Braille volumes to Josephine (Josie) Wood with the express wish of starting a library for the blind. From that humble room in Grahamstown, Josie Wood sparked a movement that transformed countless lives and established us as a national institution.
